SATWALK

The Unique Talking GPS for Walkers

SATWALK is an ingenious system that has the following features:

• Verbally guided walking routes in town and country including descriptions of points of interest en route
• Audio alerts when moving off route with guidance back to route again
• A screen displaying OS maps for reference
• A library of ready prepared audio described walking routes that can be downloaded to your GPS unit
• The ability for you to upload walks that you have created to share with others

There are many GPS systems available that offer some of these individual features

but none currently offer the whole package that is included in SATWALK.

The SATWALK system is ideal both for walkers with a visual impairment

who are unable to use a conventional GPS system and for inexperienced walkers

who lack confidence in map reading or following written instructions.

The main drawback of SATWALK is that it has yet to be developed as a product.
